Cuttlebug Quilling Accessories!

Hi, its Wini from LooneyBugDesigns with another inspirational project for you.

Today’s project is some accessories using the new Cuttlebug Quilling Kits!  These kits make flower making so easy!  I just had to make some accessories to wear!  These can be made to match any outfit or occasion – think sporting events in team colors, weddings, parties, everyday wear.

Today I made a barrette and some matching earrings but you could also make pins, broaches, combs, clips – anything you can imagine.

I had so much fun making these accessories!  I can’t wait to make more!

You will need the New Cuttlebug 6” x 13” Plates: Spacer Plate, B Plates, C  Plate to use the new Quilling Kits.  Your cutting sandwich is Spacer Plate (A Plate), B Plate, paper, Quilling Die cut side down, C  Plate.  Run it through your Cuttlebug and you are all set to go.

After cutting your paper, twist the flower together using the included tool and glue it  using a nice strong clear drying glue – I love to use Flower Soft Glue for this.

I sprayed my flowers with some Glimmer Mist to give them some shine and glued them onto the backings with a silicon glue.

I would love to know what you think!
