My first design team projects

Hi, this is Mindy and I am so excited to be posting my first official design team project.  In fact, I was so excited, I couldn't decide on which project to post so, I made 3.  I made this first card with papers from the Die Cuts With a View green stack available in the wholesale section of the store, the labels 1 nestabilitie, and then colored the image with copic markers.  I am in love with mushrooms lately.  The perfect card scent to top of this card is Mowed Grass.  After I  finished making this little guy, I heard my dog barking like crazy. That usually means one thing- the mailman is here.  The dog was right.  There was a nice big white box sitting on the porch for me full of goodies from all my various stampingscrapping.com orders.  I had to start playing with the Life's  A Beach cartridge right away.  If you don't have this one, get one of the ones she left quickly.  Don't wait until May!  This cartridge is full of great images, words, a complete alphabet, as well as a card feature.  For this first card I used the card feature for the plumeria image.  The card base and the aloha are cut from core'dinations cardstock.  The insides of the plumerias are decorated with smooch ink and stickles. To make it more authentic, I could add a little of my tulip scent my cards to make it smell like flowers.  For the whale card, I used core'dinations cardstock again (can you tell I love it?), the tiny bubbles cuttlebug embossing folder, and the just rite curlz alphabet for the sentiment.  This little guy could be scented with either Ocean Breeze or Cake Batter since it's a birthday card.
